CTR

Control Zone — the controlled airspace around a controlled aerodrome. Entry requires an ATC clearance and the appropriate VFR/IFR flight plan.

A CTR (Control Zone) is controlled airspace adjacent to a controlled aerodrome, usually extending from the ground up to several thousand feet. In the Czech Republic examples include Prague (LKPR), Brno (LKTB), Ostrava (LKMT) and Karlovy Vary (LKKV). An ATC clearance is required to transit or land — entering without a clearance has operational and legal consequences.
