LionHeli.aero is the exclusive representative of Hélicoptères Guimbal in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We operate our own service centre, CAMO and approved flight school ATO — all under one roof and with fair per-minute billing.

Key milestones that shaped us.
Company founded
LION Helicopters is founded with the first Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter and becomes the exclusive Hélicoptères Guimbal dealer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Own service and CAMO
We open our own authorised maintenance facility (Part-145) and continuing airworthiness management organisation (Part-CAMO). From this point on, we take complete care of the helicopters entrusted to us.
Own ATO flight school
We obtain approval as an approved training organisation (ATO). We begin training our own pilots — from PPL(H) to CPL(H) and FI(H) instructor qualifications.
Rebrand
We introduce the new LionHeli.aero visual identity. A modern logo, communication and website better reflect the technology, safety and fair approach we stand for.
Co-founder of LHA association
Together with other leading European flight schools, we co-found Leading Helicopter Academies (LHA) — an association that joins forces and raises standards of helicopter training across Europe.
300th Cabri G2 in the Czech Republic
We deliver the jubilee 300th Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter to the Czech Republic. This confirms the position of the Guimbal brand and our market among key operators of the type.
Delivery for the Bulgarian Army
We carry out the delivery of the first Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter for training military pilots of the Bulgarian Army. A new milestone in defence and security applications of the type.
25th helicopter for DSA a.s.
We deliver the 25th Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter — aircraft OK-PID for DSA a.s. Another confirmation of Czech operators' trust in Guimbal technology and LionHeli.aero service.
Largest Cabri fleet in the Czech Republic
We operate the largest Guimbal Cabri G2 fleet in the Czech Republic, we are bringing the new five-seat Cabri G5 to market and we are the only ones billing actual flight time by the minute.

Pilots, instructors and technicians with tens of thousands of hours of helicopter experience.
An experienced helicopter pilot focused on VIP and mountain flying. He is also a senior examiner on Cabri G2, H120 and H145 types. In 2012 he founded LION Helicopters with a vision of safe flying and brought the Guimbal brand to the Czech Republic.
Holder of CPL(H), FI(H) and a Swiss qualification for mountain flying. Flies Cabri G2, Robinson R44 and H125 types.
The first person you will meet with us. She takes care of experience flight bookings, training planning and rental clients.
Manages the complete airworthiness agenda according to Part-CAMO and Part-145. Ensures that every entrusted helicopter complies with European regulations down to the last detail and is in perfect technical condition.
Certified Guimbal Cabri G2 technician. Takes care of the perfect condition of entrusted helicopters and quality services in compliance with regulations. Likes to figure out how to do things better and more efficiently.
Guimbal Cabri G2 maintenance technician and also makes sure that all helicopter and maintenance documentation is in perfect order.
