Privacy Policy
Effective from 1 January 2025. This document describes how LION Helicopters s.r.o. processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.
1. Data controller
LION Helicopters s.r.o., registered office Ráby 119, 533 52 Pardubice, Company ID: 28763548, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové.

2. Data we process
- Identification and contact data (name, email, phone, address).
- Data from contact and inquiry forms (message content, interest).
- Contract-related data (billing data, training progress, flight records).
- Data from safety reports (where the reporter voluntarily provides them).
- Technical website data (IP address, cookies, log files).
3. Purposes and legal basis of processing
- Handling inquiries and communication — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).
- Contractual performance (training, rental, service) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Legal obligations (accounting, aviation legislation, record keeping) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Safety reports and safety management — Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR.
- Legitimate interests (asset protection, fraud prevention, direct marketing to clients) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Retention period
We retain personal data only for the time necessary to fulfil the given purpose, no longer than the period stipulated by applicable law (e.g. 10 years for accounting records, for the duration required by EASA airworthiness regulations).
5. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be transferred to processors bound by a data processing agreement — in particular IT service providers, accountants, legal counsel, public authorities (Civil Aviation Authority, tax authorities) and entities to which we are obliged to disclose data by law.
6. Transfers to third countries
Personal data is generally not transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where we exceptionally do so (e.g. for certain cloud services), we ensure an adequate level of protection through standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR.
