Another successful mission in Bulgaria. Our line maintenance station in Pleven passed aviation authority oversight again

Our technical team has completed another successful service mission in Bulgaria, where at our line maintenance station at the airport near the city of Pleven we performed scheduled maintenance on Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters used for training pilots of the Bulgarian Air Force.
This time the mission was of extraordinary significance. All work was carried out in the presence and under the supervision of representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic and the relevant Bulgarian aviation authority. The result was confirmation that all performed maintenance activities, documentation and work organization are fully in compliance with valid European regulations and EASA requirements.
For us, this is not merely a formal inspection. Confirmation of compliance with legislative requirements is proof that the same standards of quality, safety and expertise we apply in our service centre in Hradec Králové can be provided directly at the customer’s location abroad.
The mission also included support for flight training. Our Senior Examiner Jan Krčil successfully examined two new pilots of the Bulgarian Air Force Academy during the stay, who completed the final verification of their piloting skills on Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters. This part of the project also confirms that our cooperation with the Bulgarian side includes not only technical support but also the transfer of experience and expertise in the field of pilot training.
The Guimbal Cabri G2 support project for the Bulgarian Air Force is a continuation of the long-term cooperation that began with the delivery of the first helicopters and subsequently continued with support for the training of military pilots. In addition to equipment deliveries, today we ensure professional technical support, airworthiness management, regular maintenance and training support so that the helicopters and their crews are prepared for safe and reliable operation.
We thank our technicians, instructors, partners and representatives of both aviation authorities for their professional cooperation. We are proud to be part of a project that contributes to the development of military pilot training and at the same time confirms that Czech know-how in the maintenance and operation of Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters can succeed in the international environment.
