Price and fair billing

Training costs depend on the number of flight minutes and instructor time. LAPL(H) has a lower flight-hour minimum than PPL(H), so total costs are typically lower. We'll prepare a tailored quote for you.

During a full training course, the difference between per-minute and 6-minute billing adds up to tens of thousands of crowns. With us, you only pay for actual flight time.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between LAPL(H) and PPL(H)?

LAPL(H) has a lower flight-hour requirement (40 vs. 45), a simpler cross-country flight and lower licence renewal requirements. On the other hand, it doesn't allow adding ratings such as night flying or type rating, and is limited to helicopters up to a certain weight.

Can I upgrade from LAPL(H) to PPL(H)?

Yes. After completing the difference hours and theory scope, LAPL(H) can be expanded to PPL(H). Most completed hours are usually credited.

Can I carry passengers with LAPL(H)?

Yes, you can take family and friends, but you cannot demand payment for the flight. The helicopter is limited to a maximum of 4 seats.

Do I need my own helicopter?

No. During and after training you can rent a Cabri G2 from us — again with per-minute billing.
