Verticon 2026 in Atlanta

From 9 to 12 March 2026 we attended the Verticon show in Atlanta — the world's largest event dedicated to the rotorcraft industry. Jan Krčil and Jan Folkman travelled on behalf of lionheli.aero.

The main purpose of our visit was to meet existing business partners in person, strengthen long-standing friendships in the industry and discuss the next steps of our cooperation. Equally important was seeking out new opportunities to grow lionheli.aero — from new helicopter deliveries and maintenance to pilot training.

At the Guimbal booth we saw first-hand the preparations for the launch of the new five-seat Cabri G5, which we covered in an earlier article. Beyond Guimbal, we visited the presentations of every key player — Airbus Helicopters with the new H160 in a HEMS configuration, MD Helicopters, Bell, Leonardo, and engine manufacturers Safran, GE Aerospace and Rolls-Royce.

Verticon is also the place where the doors to future projects open. We held a number of meetings with American and European partners on potential further cooperation in Cabri G2 maintenance, on preparing for the arrival of the Cabri G5, and on expanding our training capacity for international students.

We would like to thank all our partners for the excellent meetings and time together. The visit to Atlanta once again confirmed that the helicopter world is small and personal contact remains the most valuable currency in this business.
