Initial course for multi-engine helicopters
Theoretical course necessary to enter the world of big helicopters.
We will teach you how to fly to large controlled airports in the Czech Republic, abroad and, of course, how to handle various emergency situations. After getting the commercial pilot licence, you will be entitled to act as a helicopter commander (PIC) in single-pilot commercial air transport operations or fly as a co-pilot of a multi-pilot helicopter crew in commercial air transport, including aerial operations.
In other words, once you get your CPL(H), you become a professional pilot! From now on, you can start applying for interesting jobs in the aviation industry and fly so-called "for pay", for example as a rescue or police helicopter pilot, a construction and assembly pilot, or a passenger transport pilot.
The CPL(H) qualification offers these and other opportunities.
Theoretical knowledge is delivered in a minimum of 250 hours. Of which:
If necessary, it is possible to arrange consultation hours with the instructor beyond the theoretical training.
The study as such is primarily divided into thirteen courses:
All students are advised to allocate enough time for the actual study of theoretical knowledge, on average 8 months.
The Civil Aviation Authority allows applicants to take the theoretical knowledge test in English only.
Practical training consists of 30 flight hours + 5 hours of night flying unless the applicant is already qualified for night flying.
The subject of commercial pilot flight training is not only about the improvement of piloting skills such as emergency procedures, instrument flights, low altitude operations, or navigation flights.
Our instructors will always aim to prepare you, as a future professional pilot, for all possible standard and non-standard situations that may occur during your career. Therefore, during your training, you will be simulated real-life situations, which will certainly improve your decision-making or your handling of uncomfortable situations.
Examples include flying in reduced visibility or gusty winds, the principles of selecting the appropriate terrain to make safe landings, or acquiring knowledge of arrival and departure procedures for flights to large or foreign airports.
Together with the private pilot's licence, you will also receive a type rating for the helicopter on which the training was carried out. For each additional helicopter, you need special retraining where you will learn the specifics of the type.
Our pilots are very well rated by other operators in general. We make sure that our students are well trained both theoretically and practically. With modern Cabri G2 helicopters, graduates are accustomed to the behaviour of larger helicopters and modern avionics.
Membership of the respected LHA opens up opportunities for graduates to be placed with other companies within the association, or to undertake training that we do not offer ourselves.

Retraining to a modern type of helicopter that is a pleasurea and joy to fly.
Extend your qualification to a comfortable turbine helicopter.
Do not be limited by borders and fly to Salzburg for lunch for example.

For many of us, sharing our experiences with others is a mission and a way of life.
