A new helicopter has arrived in Hradec Králové, which will enrich our existing fleet. It landed on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, and the first clients have already had time to try it out.
This is a brand new Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter, bearing the registration OK-LHE. The registration refers to our company's designation within the international organization ICAO. It has just assigned us the three letters LHE and the call sign Lion Heli.
The helicopter is equipped with the most modern avionics from Garmin, specifically the G500H glass cockpit with Synthetic Vision, a radio with navigation and VOR GTN750Xi, and an advanced intercom. Thanks to this avionics, pilots have all the information they need to safely perform the flight, including a 3D display of the surrounding terrain and information about surrounding traffic. This type of system is also used in modern helicopters and helps our students become familiar with this philosophy during their training, thus simplifying the transition to large helicopters in their possible future careers.
