On your agreed date, we will welcome you to our base at Hradec Králové Airport. Before take-off, you will undergo an approximately 30-minute briefing, during which your instructor will introduce you to the fundamentals of helicopter flying, safety procedures, and the flight path itself. There will, of course, be plenty of time for your questions – whether you are interested in the technology, the principles of flight, or how a helicopter works. Afterwards, you will conduct a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft together, taking a literal look 'under the bonnet'. You will get to know the various helicopter systems and prepare it for departure, just like a real pilot. After starting the engine and taking off, you will remain in constant communication with your instructor via top-of-the-range Bose aviation headsets. You will hear all the radio communication with air traffic control and experience the authentic atmosphere of real flight operations. When the time is right, your instructor will hand over the controls. You will try flying the helicopter in the air, learn basic manoeuvres, and discover what it truly feels like to pilot a rotorcraft. Safety always comes first The entire flight takes place under the supervision of a qualified instructor, who maintains full control of the aircraft at all times.
